JEE/NEET to be conducted twice a year
The JEE and NEET exams are to be conducted twice a year according to the latest announcement by our MHRD minister Mr. Prakash Javadekar, Jee as well as NEET exam are to be conducted twice a year by the National Test Agency (NTA). The JEE exam will be held in January and April and NEET in February and May. Due to the increased attempts for the exam there is an added burden on the students as the board exams will be sandwiched between the two attempts. The debate of whether this is going to benefit the students or not is still debatable but according to Mr. Javadekar this step has been taken in-order to help the students who till now had to wait for a year till they could go for another attempt.
As the NTA is not allotted any other exams hence it is expected that the preparations for JEE as well as NEET will be carried out with much better facilities for the students.
The JEE mains exam are going to be conducted under the vigilance of NTA (National Testing Agency). The registration for the exam will commence from 1st September 2018 till 30th September 2018.
